   On April 9 , '06  we visited Himeji Castle, one of the          　　平成18年4月9日、私たちは日本で初めてユネスコの世界文化
　 national treasures and a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage,　　　 遺産に登録された国宝姫路城に行って来ました。
   registered as the first such site in Japan  in 1993.　　　　　       姫路城はその美しい姿から「白鷺城」と呼ばれています。
  The castle is called "White　Heron　Castle" because of
   its  beautiful appearance , fully covered with white
   plaster, looks like white elegant bird flying in the sky.
                                                                                                                                                                                                               　　　　
　
　　We had a cherry -viewing picnic at San-no-Maru Square　　　　　　　大勢の観光客に混じって私たちも三の丸広場で
    The castle looked really gorgeous with lots of cherry 　　　　　　　　　お弁当を広げて一服。
　　blossoms.    Later on we had a toured the castle　　　　　　　　　　　  後は天守閣に登ったり、桜の下、散策を楽しんだり。
　　and walked around  the　moat enjoying the view under 　　　　　　　　素敵な一日でした。

   　Many of you might know 'Bonsai ', miniature potted trees　　　　　  みなさん盆栽はご存知のことと思います。

　　　  Outside　the exhibition hall many Bonsai were on                    会場の外では盆栽市が。スタッフの方がご親切に色々な

                       Nagahama Bonbai Exhibition is held　aproximately from Jan.10 to beginning of March.
